If you have ever visited Topaz Lake RV Park, you know immediately that the Park atmosphere is all about family and friends. We work very hard to maintain the safe, relaxing environment that our customers trust will provide guaranteed memorable vacations year after year.
But what if that you showed up one year and the operation had changed at the Park? What if everything you had trusted that would provide for another great vacation had been taken away permenently?
That's what ALS does.
One day you are getting married to the love of your life, and the next month you are being diagnosed with ALS at age 29. Everything you envisioned your life would be has now been taken away by this horrible disease and replaced with fear. But somehow, you and your wife find a new path to make a difference in the world. You start a foundation called AxeALS.org with a mission to raise awareness and funding for ALS treatments.
The "You" here is my nephew, Eric Stevens, and his wife, Amanda.
